The eclectic London-based producer and songwriter Kiran Kai is back with a new mixtape project “Ultradiction” to be released in May via the south London label Chewy Motto.
For the occasion, Purple exclusively releases his newest single “Overthrown feat. Toulouse”, a sensual sonic frameworks leaving you both elated and deflated in harmonium with the vocalised guest appearances throughout. Mixing elements of soul, R&B, cloud rap, lo-fi, darkwave and baile funk with a poetic and mystic touch, Kiran Kai emerges as the leading player in the south London underground music scene.
Captured here exclusively for Purple.fr by the talented photographer Anna Victoria Best, Kai has already written beats for the likes of Rejjie Snow, Rosie Lowe, Rago Foot, Jay Prince, Jordan Rakei, and Connie Constance.
Make sure to catch his first live show on May 10th, 2018 at Whirled Cinema, London.
